hi friends!

so.. i've been officially accepted into animationmentor.com.. i'm excited, but a little disappointed all that education and money that went into RMCAD didn't get me anywhere.. maybe i'm just too impatient and expected results too soon. either way, animation mentor will put me into contact with at least 6 animators in the biz (one mentor for each class).. and it will make me a much better 3D animator, which i'm all for. i plan to upload each of my assignments and you all can critique them too.. i just applied for a hefty loan to pay for all of this.. so wish me luck that it gets me somewhere!

on another note.. my film, my dad the giant, is in the semi finals at the angelus student film festival in hollywood.. which means i'm not officially in yet, but i have a chance. i'm one of 14 semi-finalists in the animation category, so everybody..well don't pray. unless you're religious, then you can pray. but everyone else can just hope for the best..i've also sent my flick to a few other festivals, local and not. and i should be hearing back from them soon! if i do end up being accepted to any of them, i'll probably have to remove the film from here, and replace it with the trailer.

so i guess i have my feet in a few doors. let's just hope they aren't slammed on my foot.
